Super Fast Granny Square Baby Blanket

With baby #3 due around the corner I was cutting it real close by making this blanket so last minute. With my first daughter I started making a blanket as soon as I found out I was expecting and it took me a good 6 months. It was a full adult size blanket. I was excited and young with lots of time. lol

While expecting my second daughter I waited until we found out the gender and the blanket took a few weeks. It was nice and fluffy and girly with a unique shape.

Now expecting my 3rd with two kids already in tow and a household to manage I couldn’t find the motivation or the energy to start a blanket. I know, I know, I feel like a horrible mom. Thank God, and honestly I believe this blanket was all of Gods doing. It was completed in less then 3 days and is the prettiest of the three I’ve made. As hard as I’ve tried to capture it’s beauty, pictures just don’t do it any justice. The yarn has shimmering threads running along it making it look so precious! We all really love it. I was shocked myself how simple and easy this pattern was. I used this YouTube video to start me off and just continued onwards until I reached the size I wanted.
